Ken Disselthorst, vice-president of Great River Tigers Alumni Association, arranged a campus tour for interested juniors and seniors from  Ralls County R-II, Center, MO; Palmyra R-II, Palmyra, MO; and Marion County R-II, Philadelphia, MO. Thirty interested students made the trip.  The students started  at the Reynolds Alumni Center with an orientation by the admission’s office, had lunch in a campus dorm cafeteria, then had a campus tour, followed by visits to different colleges such as CAFNR, Business, Nursing, Journalism, and Health Sciences.

GRT treated the students and chaperones to pizza at Shakespeare’s Pizza that evening.  Three members of the Mizzou student alumni association answered questions from the high school students at Shakespeare’s.

To finish the day the students attended a girl’s basketball game compliments of Mizzou Athletics.  Palmyra School district provided the bus and driver.
